Does my home need to be empty for a move-in or move-out clean?
Yes. Move-in and move-out cleans are priced and planned for an empty home so we can reach inside cabinets, appliances, and every corner. If furniture or belongings will still be there, let us know when you book so we can adjust.
Can you clean my old place and my new place?
Yes. Choose "Both" on the form and give us both addresses. We'll schedule each clean around your move.
Do I need to be home?
Not at all. Many clients leave a key at the home and come back to a clean house. Just tell us where the key is. If we can't get into the home on the day of your clean, the full price is charged as a cancellation fee.
What if you can't get into my home?
If your team can't get in, they'll wait 10 minutes while our office tries to reach you. They will never enter without permission. If we still can't get in, the lockout fee applies (the full price of the clean), so please double-check your key or entry instructions the night before.
Do the water and power need to be on?
We need running water and electricity to clean. If we can't complete the service because water or power is off, the full price is charged as a same-day cancellation fee.
Do I need to provide cleaning supplies?
No. Our team brings professional-grade supplies and equipment. If you prefer we use a specific product in your home, just let us know.
What if something was missed?
Let us know within 24 hours of your clean and we'll come back to re-clean that area, free of charge.
Can I book a cleaning for today?
Same-day cleanings are sometimes available. Contact us before 4:00 PM and we'll check our schedule for you.
Are you insured and background-checked?
Yes. DJM Cleaning Home Services is fully bonded and insured, and every team member is background-checked and trained before cleaning in your home.
What if I need to cancel or reschedule?
Please call or text us at least 2 days before your appointment to avoid a fee. With less than 2 days' notice, 50% of the service price is charged. Same-day cancellations are charged 100% of the service price.
