Why vet hospitals are different

An office cleaning crew isn’t ready for your building.

Animal hospitals see more foot and paw traffic, more accidents and more hair than almost any other facility. Your clients judge your care by what they see and smell in the first ten seconds.

Odor control

We clean at the source: floors, baseboards, drains, trash and the corners where odor builds, so the lobby smells clean, not perfumed.

Hair, everywhere

Baseboards, vents, under benches and behind exam tables. Hair collects where a quick sweep never reaches, so our checklist goes there on purpose.

Disinfection that counts

High-touch surfaces and floors are disinfected with products left on for their full contact time, not sprayed and wiped dry.

The right floor chemistry

Epoxy, sealed concrete, vinyl and tile each need different products. We match yours, including no bleach on epoxy floors.

FAQ

Vet hospital cleaning, explained

Do you clean while we’re open?

We schedule around your hours with evening, early-morning and weekend cleaning, so patients, clients and staff aren’t working around us.

Do you handle medical waste or sharps?

No. Medical waste, sharps containers and anything with patient fluids stay with your trained staff. We handle regular trash and recycling and clean the surrounding areas.

Do you clean surgery, isolation or the pharmacy?

We go over these rooms with you on the walk-through. Some hospitals want them in our scope and some keep them in-house; your proposal spells out exactly which rooms we clean.

Will your products be safe around animals?

We choose products for your surfaces and follow label directions, including contact time and rinsing where needed. If your hospital uses a specific disinfectant, we can work with it.

Do we need to sign a long-term contract?

Our commercial service agreements run for one year, with a 30-day notice to cancel.

Do you bring your own supplies?

Yes, we provide all cleaning supplies and equipment. We can also supply paper goods and soap; just ask and we’ll include an estimate.

Are you insured?

Yes. DJM is insured and bonded, carries workers’ compensation insurance and background-checks every cleaner before hire. We can provide a certificate of insurance on request.

Which areas do you serve?

Raleigh, Durham, Cary, Apex, Chapel Hill, Hillsborough and the greater Triangle and Triad.

You care for the patients. We’ll care for the building.
